Title: From Shadows to Strategy: Inside America’s New UFO Investigations?
By Joe Garner | The Garner Report
For decades, the subject of UFOs—now more officially referred to as UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena)—has been dismissed as the realm of conspiracy theorists and sci-fi enthusiasts. But as 2024 unfolds, the line between fringe speculation and official acknowledgment has never been more blurred. In a historic pivot, the United States government is not only recognizing the phenomenon—it’s actively investigating it.
Welcome to the new era of UFO discourse—where congressional hearings, military disclosures, and eerie sightings are reshaping our understanding of what’s in the skies above.
The U.S. government has long denied involvement with extraterrestrial phenomena, relegating the topic to late-night radio and online forums. That changed in earnest with the establishment of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO)—a specialized arm of the Department of Defense charged with investigating UAPs across air, sea, and space.
More than a bureaucratic nod to curiosity, AARO is developing portable UFO detection kits for field use by military personnel. These devices are designed to capture data during encounters, providing tangible evidence rather than anecdotal testimony. It’s a far cry from the days of grainy video clips and witness sketches.
But why now? Why the sudden transparency? One answer may lie in national security. Recent Congressional hearings have included stunning testimonies from former military officials claiming not only the recovery of unknown craft, but also the potential existence of non-human biological entities. Whether these claims will be substantiated remains to be seen, but their impact on public interest—and governmental urgency—is undeniable.
This year has been marked by an unprecedented number of high-profile sightings across the globe. Each event raises new questions, not just about the origin of these objects, but about their intent.
On November 8, 2024, residents of Byron Center, Michigan reported witnessing a dark, triangular object hovering silently in the sky in broad daylight. The craft, seen along Gizison Parkway, bore a striking resemblance to the rumored TR-3B—a supposed top-secret military aircraft believed to utilize reverse-engineered alien technology.
What made this sighting particularly chilling was its complete lack of movement for over 15 minutes, evoking comparisons to a 2021 encounter in Jupiter, Florida involving a similarly motionless black disc. Are we dealing with surveillance technology—or a patient form of contact?
Perhaps the most visually arresting incident of the year involves a UFO that reportedly emitted a green, laser-like particle beam while hovering in an undisclosed location. Witnesses described the craft as moving with fluid, jellyfish-like motions, shifting its shape from oval to elongated forms.
The beam itself scanned the surface below as though mapping the terrain or conducting some kind of analysis. Was this a data collection mission? A show of technological superiority? Or could this craft be something entirely foreign—a biomechanical hybrid, neither fully machine nor creature?
Tom DeLonge, known for his work with Blink-182 and his longstanding interest in UFO research, released footage from 2020 that took on renewed relevance in 2024. The video shows a disc-shaped craft ejecting a metallic sphere from its underside—eerily reminiscent of military bomb drops from WWII aircraft.
These metallic orbs have appeared in several other videos this year, often moving independently and seemingly scanning the terrain below. The nature and purpose of these devices remain a mystery, but the recurring pattern suggests a coordinated reconnaissance mission of some sort.
In a moment that raises more questions than answers, a disc-shaped UFO was filmed moments before a failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024.
The object, moving at extreme velocity, was only visible when the footage was slowed to one-quarter speed. Given that the rally was designated as a no-fly zone, the presence of any aerial craft—let alone one of unidentified origin—is deeply troubling. Was this coincidence, surveillance, or something more?
In Shishino, Moldova, yet another disc-shaped UFO was recorded in June 2024, bearing a striking resemblance to the craft seen in DeLonge’s footage. After hovering momentarily, it accelerated away at speeds well beyond human-engineered capabilities. This event paralleled a similar sighting earlier in the year over IBA, Europe, reinforcing the hypothesis of global surveillance or mapping efforts.
The final major sighting took place at an undisclosed location, where a witness returning from rugby practice captured three black spherical objects hovering in a triangular formation. Despite their apparent coordination, each orb moved independently, yet none left their position for the duration of the sighting.
This precise triangulation suggests deliberate placement rather than coincidence, evoking strategic alignment rather than curiosity. Are we being watched—or studied?
The nature of these sightings and the government’s evolving stance suggest that we are entering a new phase of public engagement with extraterrestrial phenomena. Questions that were once ridiculed are now debated in serious policy forums. Agencies that once denied are now deploying field teams.
So what does this mean for humanity? Is an eventual first contact on the horizon—or are we merely glimpsing the edges of an invisible war, one fought in the shadows between classified programs and interstellar entities?
For now, the answer remains elusive. But one fact is increasingly clear: the skies are no longer silent, and someone—or something—is watching.
